About Us

Pre-Implementation

Prior to implementation, the 100% tobacco-free committee must establish a firm communication plan and ensure that all employees are aware of the policy and its benefits.

Many hospitals have decided to use a variety of signs so people don't become "sign blind." As ressources vary for every hospital, permanent signage may be substituted with laminated posters. It is important to stress that the hospital is being tobacco-free campus wide and to use a large and easy to read font so the message is easily conveyed.
